Description
Windy is non-shedding and is a little more than a Year and 1/2. She's a perfect companion for a child or adult. I got her when she was 6 months old as a companion for my dog Stormy who is 12 years old. I was undergoing multiple head surgeries and didn't want stormy to have to slow down for me. Windy is perfect. She warmed up to Stormy immediately and was the warm bundle of youth I had hoped she would be to keep Stormy running and playing in the yard. She needed a bit more potty training and a few chew toys for her puppy-hood but that was it. Now, maybe once in awhile a bag of q-tips laying on the floor might get her interest but a simple look, and a "no" and she gets it. She's an amazing dog. She's a little active on walks but just a reminder here and there to stay with you. Even if other dogs come along, you can stop, get off the path, tell her to "stay" and she won't run up and bother others. In other words she is extremely responsive and well behaved. I'm training her to dance in circles on her back feet for treats. She is easy to bathe and groom. I brush her teeth in detail daily and she allows it. She adores cuddling. She lays on her back and hugs your arm with her paws. She is extremely loving and observant. Everyone who meets her, just, loves her. She won't struggle to find the home of any dogs dreams. In other words, it is my loss. But I am 27, and just survived 7 brain/head surgeries. She is the angel I needed during a life or death time. Now I am looking to travel, go to college, I'm all over the place with my aspirations and I just don't have the time and space for her. If I did I wouldn't even consider letting her go. This is completely my loss. I don't know if I will ever meet another animal this special in my lifetime. My other one, Stormy, is retiring at my mother's house. If you cannot offer full vet and dental care, do not have a yard AND time to play with Windy, take her to dog parks, buy her quality dog food, treats etc. please keep looking
