Maremma Sheepdog Litter of Puppies For Sale in THORN HILL, TN, USA
Two puppies are left of a litter of four born July 3, 2022. These two young ladies were born here on the mountain in East Tennessee. They are with livestock--nose-to-nose--on a daily basis: sheep, pigs, miniature horses, chickens, geese, ducks and cats and do very well. A boy and girl have already been sold. While these pups are unregistered, they are Maremmas. The sire, or father, Guido, is four years old, and registered with the Maremma Sheepdog Club of America, and the dam, or mother, Grettu, is five, and, while unregistered, is DNA-tested. These two are healthy, strong, playful, and happy. Two are always better than one, and a discount is available if you buy both and keep them together.
Items Included: Vet puppy examination, age-appropriate puppy shots, dewormed, and microchipped.

The bigger of the two, Verde (or "Verdie") loves to be with her sister, and they roam the entire fenced-in part of the mountain farm, and interact with the other eight adult Maremmas, as well as all of the other farm animals, including St. Croix hair sheep, mini horses, Idaho Pasture Pigs, geese, chickens, ducks, and cats.

Father
Guido Maximo is a registered Maremma Sheepdog, registered with the MSCA: Maremma Sheepdog Club of America. He was born in 2018, and has sired five litters of puppies. He is also available for stud services. Guido is a magnificent example of a Maremma. He is a big lad, weighing about 115 pounds at a recent vet visit. He is the alpha dog on the farm, with eight adult Maremmas. With a thunderous voice, he wards off all of the wild predators that live just beyond the 12 acres of fence on the farm. Guido is friendly to all people, and is just a wonderful dog. When this photo was taken Guido was out on the farm and is somewhat dirty. He is snow-white.
Mother
Grettu is one of our two breeding females, together with her sister, Lilly. This is Grettu's first litter, even though she was born in 2017. She is DNA-tested, but she is not registered. Although this is her first litter of puppies, Grettu has shown herself to be a natural mother and cares deeply for her pups, protecting them from all dangers.
