Forest is an ~12 week old Red Miniature Australian Shepherd, handsome, active and sweet! Like his parents Ruby and Benito, he enjoys lots of play with his siblings and unlimited human contact. He comes from a litter of seven pups! He is natural, with an undocked tail (we felt this to be the ethical choice). His parents are wonderful dogs with registration of the CKC and ASDR. He is the largest puppy in his litter. He is very playful, although too enthusiastic at times, and he is learning to moderate his play bites with humans still. Like his father, it will be worth the reward once he is fully trained. This aside, he is sure to be your most sweet and loyal companion! Our special handsome boy Benito =) Expert frisbee catcher. A blue merle mini aussie weighing 39 lbs, with lovely eyes and colorations. Extremely suft ruff of white fur on the chest. He also functions as a security guard, always waiting at the door for the arrival of his favorite people. He is well-socialized with other dogs, and shows great curiosity in his puppies! Not to mention he is a very strong swimmer, running through the water and dunking his head for refreshment. Benito has learned many commands, with the assistance of the treats he craves. He loves to collect his toys and assemble them around him in his crate. He and the dam, Ruby, are best of friends, chasing each other around the yard. Once a new human has given him affection, playtime, or better yet, a treat, he is instantly pals with them and has never shown any signs of aggression towards guests. He can often be found offering his tummy and laying underfoot.

The sweetest girl ever :) Ruby is a Red Mini Aussie weighing 29 lbs, with the softest coat that invites endless rubs. She is also a world-class frisbee catcher, her favorite play activity. Once seated on a couch, one doesn't wait long to feel her pressed up against one's side, gazing deeply into your eyes, offering her tummy, and gently pawing at her human for affection. From day one she has impressed us with her desire to please us. A first-time mother, she has shown incredible grace and diligence with her pups, cleaning and feeding them without complaint. She is also an expert walker, the leash is totally cosmetic, as she stays right by our side no matter where we take her.

The Miniature Australian Shepherd is a well-balanced dog of medium size and bone. He is attentive and animated, showing strength and stamina combined with unusual agility. Slightly longer than tall, he has a coat of moderate length and coarseness with coloring that offers variety and individuality in each specimen. An identifying characteristic is his natural or docked bobtail. In each sex, masculinity or feminity is well-defined. Bone is moderate and clean with coarseness, heaviness or lightness being undesirable. Overall type, balance of conformation and movement are valued more highly than individual structural perfections because it is balance which enables him to fulfill his purpose.
