We are a small homestead raising the occasional litter of Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies from our two family dogs Chip (blue merle) & JoJo (red tri). Our dogs are living their best life on the homestead with space to run, swim, herd animals, and get delicious & nourishing treats (fresh eggs, beef & chicken liver, bone broth, chicken feet) all raised on the homestead. Meet Chip! He's a lady's man for sure and loves to gives hugs. He has the best wigglebutt which he loves to show off, especially when he's excited to see you! He's a great father and will play with the puppies daily from about 4 weeks until they are ready to go to their new furever home.

Meet JoJo! This is a picture or her shortly after labor with all of her puppies. She's a great momma! She is constantly taking care of her puppies and making sure they are safe, well-fed, and clean. When she's not taking care of puppies, she loves to go for car rides and stick her head as far as she can out the window! She loves to snuggle, belly rubs, and is the first to know when there is a squirrel in the yard.

Overview:
The Miniature Australian Shepherd is a well-balanced dog of medium size and bone. He is attentive and animated, showing strength and stamina combined with unusual agility. Slightly longer than tall, he has a coat of moderate length and coarseness with coloring that offers variety and individuality in each specimen. An identifying characteristic is his natural or docked bobtail. In each sex, masculinity or feminity is well-defined. Bone is moderate and clean with coarseness, heaviness or lightness being undesirable. Overall type, balance of conformation and movement are valued more highly than individual structural perfections because it is balance which enables him to fulfill his purpose.
