Posted Breed: Poodle (unknown type) / Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 375 each. BONDED PAIR - Will only be adopted together - BONDED PAIR PRINCESS is a very sweet and playful Shih Tzu/Poodle mix who weighs around 13 pounds and is 7 years old. She loves people and does very well with everyone she meets, including the staff at the vet’s office. Princess loves to be held and will give you kisses. If allowed, she really enjoys laying close by if her foster is watching TV. Princess is confident and smart and has more of an alpha personality with other dogs, but not in any way aggressive; she has done very well with the other dogs in her foster home. Princess loves to race around the fenced back yard with the other dogs and is very agile. She is crated when her foster leaves the home. Princess would do well in almost any home. DHIRO is a very sweet and sensitive, 4 year old, 14 pound, Yorkshire Terrier mix. Dhiro bonds quickly with his person and wants to be near them. He loves being outside, with or without other dogs, and enjoys exploring the yard. He has done wonderfully with all the dogs in the foster home and has not shown any aggression toward them. Dhiro likes to hang out with and sleep closely to Princess in the dog bed or on his favorite chair in the foster home. This sweet boy was very stressed when he was surrendered for rescue, but he has settled in nicely and is a happy pup. Dhiro makes a growly noise while getting pets, which seems to be a soothing sound for him. He loves getting his belly rubbed. Dhiro can be picked up and enjoys getting having a “conversation” with his foster mom. We are seeking an adult only household for this pair due to Dhiro's sensitivity. Because both dogs love to race out the door and play and explore the back yard, we are requiring a securely fenced yard for them. These dogs are fully vetted, having been examined by a veterinarian, provided inoculations, been tested for diseases, wormed, neutered, and microchipped. Both are in very good health.
