Sweet Puppies rescued; now finding them great homes! Must early spay and neuter! My best friend is an Oncology Nurse Practitioner, she lives in the country and had a blind dog show up starving and pregnant. She has nursed the mommy back to health and had 6 healthy butterball puppies. Four puppies have been adopted, only two boys left. Blue Heeler and Border Collie are thought to be a part of the unknown mix. Fully Rescue, no breed or health guarantees as they are unknown. Have had first vaccination and wormer.
Items Included: If shipping is needed, it will be $275 which will include crate, flight health cert and puppy flight ticket.

Petunia is a little more bashful than Miss Blue, but is still a playful puppy! She is what I would call the runt of the litter but soooo sweet. She is very sociable now--somewhat bashful but I think she is coming out of it a little. Loves to be petted. Plays with all the other puppies and cat (also a rescue) and our Golden Retriever and Dachshund (also rescue dogs). So great with both big and small dogs. The great part of this rescue is we know they were loved and fed and held and cared for from the start.

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
