Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the Malinois are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. The Miniature Australian Shepherd is a well-balanced dog of medium size and bone. He is attentive and animated, showing strength and stamina combined with unusual agility. Slightly longer than tall, he has a coat of moderate length and coarseness with coloring that offers variety and individuality in each specimen. An identifying characteristic is his natural or docked bobtail. In each sex, masculinity or feminity is well-defined. Bone is moderate and clean with coarseness, heaviness or lightness being undesirable. Overall type, balance of conformation and movement are valued more highly than individual structural perfections because it is balance which enables him to fulfill his purpose.
Cowboy Corgi
The Cowboy Corgi is cross between the Australian Cattle Dog and the Corgi. They mostly stay the size of a corgi and will have more of the heeler color unless they are out of a merle and they will look more like a corgi. They have big happy personalities and always trying to please. They still have the drive to work and drive of both breeds.
