Siberian Husky
Chukcha, Chuksha
The Siberian Husky is very similar in looks to the Alaskan Malamute, yet somewhat smaller in build and not quite as bold. Still, he needs a strong-willed owner who will stay in control. This dog loves to roam and explore, so he needs a nice big yard.
Australian Retriever
The Australian Retriever is a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Golden Retriever. The Australian Retriever is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing Australian Shepherd and a Golden Retriever. Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the Australian Retriever are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. We currently do not have more detailed information for this breed.
Golden Retriever
Yellow Retriever
The Golden Retriever has a great personality and is easy to train, making this one of America's favorite family pets. They are good hunting companions and also great with kids.
Labrador Retriever
Labrador, Lab
The Labrador Retriever is probably America's favorite dog. He is playful (well into his adult years) and is often seen as a lifelong friend.
Australian Shepherd
The Australian Shepherd is intelligent and very loyal to his owner. He's a working dog, though, so he does best when his owner gives him a job to do ' such as herding livestock.
Dalmatian
Carriage Dog, Spotted Coach, Dog Firehouse, Dog Plum, Pudding Dog
The Dalmatian requires a lot of exercise, so is best suited for an active owner. Loyal and well-mannered, he enjoys accompanying his owner on a jog or a walk about town.
Pomsky
Siberian Husky Pomeranian Mix
A Pomsky is a cross between a Pomeranian and a Siberian Husky. A crossing usually consists of a female Husky and a male Pomeranian. This is to avoid any complications that may occur if the smaller Pomeranian were to carry puppies sired by the much larger Siberian Husky male.
American Bulldog
Originally used in the 17th century for bull baiting—a wagering sport in which dogs fought bulls in a ring—Bulldogs had taller, more athletic frames (much like the Olde English Bulldogge). When bull baiting was outlawed in 1835, Bulldogs were bred to be kinder, heavier and more relaxed. However, American Bulldogs—which were brought to the U.S. before this breeding pattern—retained the size and strength of the original Bulldogs. Great family dogs, American Bulldogs are sweet to children. They love family-oriented occasions and want to be involved. With proper training and socialization, you’ll find them outgoing and exceedingly loyal. Some American Bulldogs will go to great lengths to protect their masters. Tough and determined, American Bulldogs have an impressive stamina and strength. They are always game for playtime in the back yard or working in the field.
Dachshund
teckel
The Dachshund (German for 'badger dog') is a family favorite. Playful, friendly, and full of charm, he makes a great pet.
