Chinese Crested
Crested, Puff
The Chinese Crested is found in both hairless and powder-puff varieties. The hairless has only a tuft of hair on the head and feet, but otherwise hair-free. This makes him have special skin care needs, but the breed is a joy to have around.
Chi-Chi
The Chi-Chi is a cross between an Chihuahua and a Chinese Crested. The Chi-Chi is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing Chihuahua and a Chinese Crested. Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the Chi-Chi are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. We currently do not have more detailed information for this breed.
Mastiff
English mastiff
The Mastiff is a gentle dog, despite his striking size and appearance. He makes a great watch dog and loyal companion. This dog develops enduring bonds with his family and is best suited to living in the country or suburbs where he can have lots of space.
Golden Retriever
Yellow Retriever
The Golden Retriever has a great personality and is easy to train, making this one of America's favorite family pets. They are good hunting companions and also great with kids.
Border Collie
Scottish Sheep Dog, Welsh sheep dog
The Border Collie enjoys working; if not actually herding sheep, he needs to be in the company of an athletic owner who will allow him to work out often. He's intelligent and eager to please, so makes a fine companion for active and attentive owners.
English Bulldog
Bulldog
Named for its use in the sport of bull baiting, the English bulldog seems to have originated in the British Isles sometime prior to the 13th century. One of the few references to the sport dates back to 1209, and talks about a butcher's dogs that chased a bull through the English town of Stamford. This pursuit so pleased the earl of the town that he inaugurated bull baiting as a sport in his domain. Today, the English bulldog makes a fine family pet. The AKC recognizes the breed simply as the bulldog.
