Labradoodle

The Labradoodle is a mix between the Labrador Retriever and the Poodle. Both breeds are excellent for children and families. The Labradoodle became known in 1988, when Australian breeder Wally Conron crossed the Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle at the Royal Guide Dogs Associations of Australia in Victoria. Conron's aim was to combine the low-shedding coat of the Poodle with the gentleness and trainability of the Labrador, and to provide a guide dog suitable for people with allergies to fur and dander. Sultan, a dog from this litter, displayed all the qualities Conron was seeking and worked as a guide dog for a woman in Hawaii for ten years. Although Guide Dogs Victoria no longer breed Labradoodles, they are bred by other guide and assistance dog organizations in Australia and other places. The Association for the Blind of Western Australia has introduced Labradoodles into their training program, and their first, Jonnie, graduated in November 2010. Labradoodles are now widely used around the world as guide, assistance, and therapy dogs as well as being popular family dogs. The Norwegian Royal Crown Prince and Princess own a Labradoodle.

ShihPoo

The ShihPoo is a cross between an Shih Tzu and a Poodle (Toy). The ShihPoo is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing Shih Tzu and a Poodle (Toy). Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the ShihPoo are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. We currently do not have more detailed information for this breed.

It descends from North American White Shepherds imported to Switzerland; the White Shepherd itself descends from white-coloured purebred German Shepherds. White Swiss Shepherd (Berger Blanc Suisse) is a herding dog that originated in Switzerland. They are well-balanced , agile and muscular. With a chiseled head, long and robust muzzle, pointed , well-proportioned ears, lovely almond shaped eyes, bushy tail and snowy white coat, the White Swiss Shepherd has a distinctive look. It has become one of the most versatile working dogs serving mankind due to its high degree of intelligence and sense of loyalty. The White Swiss Shepherd has a gentle and friendly nature which makes them a wonderful family dog. It is an intelligent breed and is cheerful and quick to learn. As a naturally fit and agile dog, the White Swiss Shepherd has a lot of stamina, energy and endurance and can travel long distances. It can be used in disciplines like herding, obedience, agility, tracking & protection.
