Olde English Bulldogge
English Bulldog, British Bulldog
The Olde English Bulldogge is a new breed, which was developed in the 1970s by a man looking to breed a dog more like the original English Bulldogs. The result is a healthy and hardy pet.
Maltipoo
Malt-A-Poo, Malti-Poo, Maltepoo
The Malt-A-Poo is a mix between the Maltese and the Poodle. These dogs get along well in most families, if they have a yard for exercise.
French Bulldog
Bouledogue Français, Frenchie
The French Bulldog is low key and enjoys lots of activity. He's well suited for either family living or attaching to just one special person. He can be a great watchdog, although will bark only when there is a real need.
F2 Aussiedoodle
An F2 Aussiedoodle is a cross between two Aussiedoodles.
Labrador Retriever
Labrador, Lab
The Labrador Retriever is probably America's favorite dog. He is playful (well into his adult years) and is often seen as a lifelong friend.
Belgian Malinois
(Chien de Berger Belge), Mechelaar Mechelse, Herder Mechelse, Scheper Pastor, Belga Malinois
The Belgian Malinois is intelligent, active, and very sensitive to his surroundings. He's a devoted family pet, but shy with strangers. Because he's good with kids, he's an ideal watch and gard dog.
English Bulldog
Bulldog
Named for its use in the sport of bull baiting, the English bulldog seems to have originated in the British Isles sometime prior to the 13th century. One of the few references to the sport dates back to 1209, and talks about a butcher's dogs that chased a bull through the English town of Stamford. This pursuit so pleased the earl of the town that he inaugurated bull baiting as a sport in his domain. Today, the English bulldog makes a fine family pet. The AKC recognizes the breed simply as the bulldog.
