Dog Breed: Boxer / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 300. Hi my name is Cardinal! I am about a year old male Boxer/Hound mix weighing in at about 40lbs. Because of my age I can be a ball of energy, but with that said I also love to cuddle up on the couch for long naps. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you I’ll always want to be by your side. When it comes to other pups I also can be a bit shy at first but once I warm up we could play all day. I am still working on my basic commands but I learn quicker with a pup who already knows the ropes and can show me how it's done. My foster mom thinks I’d be better off with a fenced in yard as I love to explore the yard and sun bathe in the grass. I haven’t been around kids or cats so I am not sure how I feel about them. I think I’d do better with another dog but I also love to be the center of attention so I should be okay by myself. I’m still working on my confidence but my foster mom thinks I’ll be the perfect addition to anyone willing to help me build it up. The adoption fee of $250 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
