Pretty as the flower she’s named after and just about the most gentle pup you could ask for! Momma P came to us on a very special series of flights to get her from the shelter to her foster. Unfortunately one of the pilots who had a big part in getting her here, tragically lost his life not two weeks after helping deliver Momma and pups up north on another trip with 3 puppies on board, 2 which miraculously survived the crash. In remembrance of the brave pilot Seuk Kim, we renamed her three babies “Sookie”, “Kim”, and Hero. Petunia loves everyone and everything she meets, human, kid, animal, it doesn’t matter she just loves to love! When meeting new dogs she is very submissive, not a mean bone in her body! She has great recall on and off leash and listens to every word spoken to her, sometimes with that cute little head tilt as she tries to figure out just what you want her to do! She is an amazing Momma to her babies and takes such good care of them! But her favorite thing to do is let loose in the fenced yard and run, run , run! She is house trained, never had an accident and will whine at the door when she needs to go out. She is the best snuggler and will curl right up with you every chance she gets! This is one super special pup and will make a great addition to any family or pack but act fast because she’s going to get snatched up in no time!
