Description
Dog Breed: German Pinscher (short coat). KANG - 2 years old, 18 pounds, house trained, knows commands, adult only home, needs time getting to know you, dog social with proper introductions & supervision. Smart boy Kang might be short in stature but he is large in personality! Let's all just admit it...he is adorable! With his petite body, short but lean legs, and awesome smile, he will draw you in fast but don't go there! Not yet! He needs time to learn to trust. Time and patience. Kang is energetic and playful. He loves to run and loves to go for walks. In fact, he was used to walking 4 times a day in his previous home and his tiny size makes it easier to walk him. After careful introductions and specially chosen doggy playmates, Kang is a regular in our shelter playgroup. He runs, he chases, he barks. He is fun to watch. *Note, we do not have any toys or treats in our shelter playgroup. Kang also has quirks. (Don't we all? lol) He guards valuable items. He gets anxious when left alone. He chases small animals. Kang is a force to be reckoned with, on and at his own pace. He will become your best mate but you'll need patience getting there. When your friends come over, you'll have to remember they are strangers to Kang and he will need time getting to know them, just like he did with you. Kang is currently in a back kennel so if you don't see him when you come in to meet him, please just ask.
