Say hello to Magpie, an active, joyful, and gentle pup with a heart as big as her smile! She’s the perfect petite package of playfulness and affection. Magpie is a social butterfly who loves everyone she meets! She is especially fond of dogs of all sizes, and would love a home with a furry friend to romp around with or an active family to keep her busy. Her favorite things include running in the yard, going for walks, exploring the outdoors, and then settling in with the family afterwards. Whether it’s a long stroll through the neighborhood, a sun-soaked nap in the yard, or playing with her favorite toys, Magpie is all in. Sweet and easygoing, she’s the kind of dog who instantly makes people smile. She’s gentle with her affection, and happiest just being part of the family. And here's the cutest part—when she gets excited, she dances! Yep, little happy hops that will melt your heart every time. Magpie would make a wonderful companion—she’s adaptable, loving, and full of joy. On top of all that, she has many great skills already. She is house trained, knows basic commands, rests quietly when her foster family is away, and is very treat motivated. All she needs now is an adoptive family that is ready for all of the fun and love that she has to give! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
