Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Puerto Rico shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Michael would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Michael is Looking For: Hi! I'm Michael. My sister Maggie and I are "satos" - dogs from Puerto Rico. We've enjoyed growing up together but now we're ready to split up and get our own homes. We're young, haven't seen nearly enough of the world yet, and very eager to explore on long sniffy walks and all the adventures our new families can dream up! Making pup pals along the way would be great too. Most of all, though, I want to know where I belong, to be safe and loved all my days.
