Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff / Mixed (medium coat). Greetings my fine citizens! You may address me (the king, the emperor, the czar) as Royal! My adoption fee is paid for by The Carroll Team at Ruoff Mortgage! Weight 77.6# I'm a sweet, big boy who will happily show you how good my `sits` are for a small price (any treat will do). As many emperor's do, I like to greet my people by jumping up, paws on the shoulder, so I can look you directly in the eye as is tradition in my kingdom. I've made some dog friends while I've been here. I definitely prefer daintier dogs, so be sure to bring any current dogs in the home with you to see if they're fit for royalty! I am looking for a home with older kids if you have any!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
