Dog Breed: Corgi / Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 600. Pepe is a handsome, playful boy with a pretzel-curled tail that perfectly matches his fun personality. He may be a little unsure when first meeting someone new, but within minutes he warms up and shows his sweet, eager-to-please nature. Pepe is smart, even-tempered, and seems to know he’s adorable—he’ll wrinkle his forehead when he’s curious, and it’s impossible not to fall in love with him! Pepe is well-mannered and comes with great basics already in place: he’s leash-trained, crate-trained, rides nicely in the car, and enjoys both human affection and playful moments. He gets along well with big dogs, small dogs, and adult women. He would adapt well to a variety of home environments—he’s the kind of dog who adjusts easily, whether it’s a lively household or a calmer one-on-one companion home. Pepe originally came from the Cleveland, TX shelter, where he stayed only a few days before rescue. He arrived in good shape and hasn’t skipped a beat since—this boy is simply a good, lovable dog looking for a family who will adore him as much as he’ll adore them. Pepe is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/21/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
