Meet Lady — A Sweet Senior Pekingese Mix Lady is a gentle, loving senior Pekingese mix whose sweet personality has made everyone who meets her absolutely fall in love. She recently came into the care of Tired Dog Rescue after staying at Big Ridge Veterinary Hospital, and she is now settling into her foster home with the help of her amazing foster, Wendy. Lady has some age-related heart concerns, but her condition is stable and well-managed with daily medication. She has been fully examined by our veterinary team, and her bloodwork and screenings were otherwise normal. She will continue to receive routine vet follow-ups, including a cardiology appointment and a dental evaluation, to make sure she stays comfortable and healthy. Despite being a senior girl, Lady is full of grace and charm. She prefers a calm environment and would do best in a home without large or overly energetic dogs. She does great with smaller, easygoing dogs and is currently living peacefully with older cats in her foster home. Her gentle presence makes her a soothing companion to have around. Lady’s soft eyes, adorable Pekingese face, and sweet spirit make her truly special. She is the kind of dog who just wants to be near her people, relaxing and being loved.
