Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Want a puppy? We have two: Franny and Zoey were found together and are likely sisters: Franny is a spayed, 28-pound lab mix with a beautiful black coat and a sweet disposition. Like her sister, she is playful, sociable, and so much fun. She likes other dogs, but tends to play with her sister, Zoey. We are working on housebreaking and appropriate manners, but she is doing well. Franny is currently at the Shelter. Here is the adoption process: To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $60 fee for any animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier. Thank you for considering a homeless animal.
