Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. *Name: King *Age: 8 years *Current Weight: 56lbs *Rescued from: New York City, fostered in CT *Adoption fee: $300 Sweet King recently found himself out of time at an overcrowded shelter in the city with his hope just about to run out. We don't know where King spent his earlier life, but our rescue partners new he deserved another chance to live out his senior years happily in a loving home and got him to SNARR. King, who is described as a "peach" and a "staff favorite", is sweet, wiggly, happy, friendly and playful. He gets along amazingly with everyone he meets -- dogs, cats, adults and young kids.
