Born around September 20, 2025 , Olaf is an adorable terrier mix puppy with a stunning coat and the most soulful eyes you’ve ever seen. This little guy is as playful as they come—he absolutely loves his toys and is always up for a good romp or a game of fetch. Olaf is also a sweetheart when it comes to snuggles. After playtime, he loves to cuddle up close and melt into belly rubs. He’s currently sharing a puppy pen with his siblings, where he’s learning all about the world and how fun it is to be a pup! Olaf is dog-friendly and kid-friendly , making him a great fit for many types of families. Like any young puppy, he’ll need an adopter who’s ready to guide him through the basics— puppy training, potty training, and basic obedience —to help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and adorable new best friend, Olaf might just be your perfect match! A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
