Are you looking for a intelligent, fun, best friend who is down for long walks, car rides, games of fetch and days at the pool or lake? If so Kahuna might be your guy. He is a handsome happy guy who loves being around his people, and loves play and adventures. He is a smart boy who quickly picks up on what you want and your routines. He can pull a bit on leash, but gets much better with a bit of consistency. He is a lover of all dog toys, especially those with squeakers, and delights in showing off his toys. With other dogs Kahuna has done well. He will offer play bows and is also content to coexist. IN the shelter he did show some barrier reactivity, so slow intros and off leash greeting work best for him. As he is a big boy at almost 90 lbs, and does not always recognize his size (occasionally will jump up), older children would likely be a better fit than little ones. Kahuna is from a local impound.
