Description
Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (medium coat). Hi there! Iâm Nintendo 64 and let me tell you... life is best when Iâm on the move or right by my people. Iâve got energy to spare, so playtime is my favorite part of the day. Whether itâs chasing a ball, tugging on a rope, or just running circles in the yard, Iâm always ready for action. But donât let my energy fool you; Iâm a total softie when it comes to my humans. I like to keep them in sight at all times, just to make sure everyoneâs safe and accounted for. After a long walk or some good play, thereâs nothing better than curling up close for a cuddle. Iâll rest my head on your leg or lean against you, happy and content just being near. Walks are another highlight... so many smells! So many sights! Every trail feels like an adventure, and I love exploring it all with my favorite people by my side. Iâm loyal, loving, and a little bit of a shadow dog... I just want to be where the action is (or where the snacks are). Lifeâs simple: play hard, love harder, and always stick close to your pack.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
