Description
Dog Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). This Wildflower is ready to bloom in your home! Although it isn't spring, this sweet thing popped up at our Shelter. She has brightened staff and volunteer's days since her arrival - eager to interact, lean in and soak up loving. We don't know much about her past but she seems like the type that will blossom where she is planted. Wildflower has met other dogs at the Shelter and seems to enjoy playing after an initial meet 'n greet. We don't have any history of Wildflower with children or cats. We also are not sure if she is house trained. The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation is now offering âPawsitivity Bucksâ with every dog adoption. This $200 training voucher is a way for newly adopted canines and their guardians to connect with local positive reinforcement based behavior consultants and get their relationship started off on the right paw! Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
