Dog Breed: Golden Retriever (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $150.00. Hi there, I’m Tober. I’m an 11-year-old cream-colored Golden Retriever, and I’m told I’m one of the sweetest souls you’ll ever meet. I may have a few gray hairs, but don’t let that fool you—my heart (and my tail!) are as lively as ever. I still love to play with toys and chase balls, and nothing makes me happier than seeing my people smile while I prance around showing off my favorite toy. I’m completely potty trained and use the doggie door like a pro. I adore people—especially kids—and I get along wonderfully with other dogs. I’ve never met a cat, but with my calm, gentle nature, I think I’d do just fine with one. When I was just a puppy, I had a scary experience with stairs, so sometimes I need a little encouragement to climb them. But once I feel safe and loved, I always give it my best try—because that’s who I am: a happy boy with a big heart who never gives up. These days, I cherish the little things—soft beds, kind words, belly rubs, and a good game of fetch. I’m just looking for a forever home where I can spend my golden years surrounded by love, laughter, and maybe a few squeaky toys.
