Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Italian Greyhound / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 550. Meet Stanley, a lovable, friendly pup who truly adores everyone—dogs, cats, kids, and adults alike! There’s just one exception: chickens, who he thinks are far too “interesting” for his taste. Stanley is the complete package when it comes to manners—he’s leash trained, potty trained, and crate trained, making him a dream companion for any household. This happy-go-lucky guy loves to soak up the sunshine, and his favorite part of the day is lounging on his dog cot in the yard, enjoying the warmth and calm. Stanley also has a curious side and loves to sniff out hidden treats, keeping his mind sharp and his tail wagging. With his easygoing personality, playful curiosity, and love for everyone he meets, Stanley is ready to find a home where he can enjoy sunny days, belly rubs, and all the adventures life has to offer. Stanley is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/21/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
