Dog Breed: Border Collie / Mixed. Trent is the whole package — smart, social, and oh-so-sweet. He loves people, adores other dogs, and always greets friends (new and old) with a wagging tail and a gentle heart. He’s food motivated, enjoys toys, and even shares without a fuss — what a gentleman! This staff favorite loves to snuggle, give gentle hugs, and soak up belly rubs like it’s his favorite hobby. He walks well on the leash, seems potty trained, and is ready to be your new adventure buddy or cuddle companion — whatever the day brings. Once an unclaimed stray, Trent is now ready to find the forever home he’s always deserved — a place where he can be loved, pampered, and maybe even become a little Instagram famous for his good looks and sweet smile. Trent was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico. Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
