A 4-month-old terrier mix who hopped his way up from Louisiana and straight into everyone’s hearts. This little guy is pure sweetness wrapped in puppy fluff — the kind who melts into your lap like he’s been there his whole life. Hopper is all about the good stuff: snuggles, toys, repeat. He’ll happily curl up on you for a nap, then bounce right back up for playtime with whatever squeaks, crinkles, or rolls across the floor. He’s curious, gentle, and full of that perfect puppy eagerness to learn what life is all about. Now he just needs a family to show him the ropes — basic manners, routines, confidence, and of course, how to become the world’s best cuddle buddy. He’s young, he’s willing, and he’s ready to grow up loved. If you’re searching for a soft-hearted, toy-loving little shadow to follow you around and fill your home with puppy joy… Hopper might just be your boy. Meet N Greets are scheduled with an approved app.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
