His journey to the shelter began when he mistook a police car for a fun ride and hopped in when the officer wasn't looking. After a brief joyride and a very polite 'arrest', Ace found himself at the shelter, making friends and charming the staff. Despite his shy nature around new faces, once he warms up, he's your friend for life. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
