Description

Dog Breed: Pug (short coat). Please contact Cathleen (cathleen.proncgmail) for more information about this pet. Http:/.pugrescuenc/images/PRONC_Express.jpg Frank is a 6 month old black and tan pug. Neutered, microchipped, up to date on routine shots and heartworm negative. Adoption fee is $500.00. Fostered in Mocksville NC Hello world my name is Frank. I'm a busy guy with lots of things to do and see. Up until now I've lived my life in a yard so I don't have very good manners according to my foster mom. She says I'm sweet and very friendly but I have a lot to learn like walking better on this thing she calls a leash and always going potty outside. I am smart and learning fast. I am beginning to like this crate thing better. I sleep through the night in there without a fuss. I will need another dog that likes to play because I'm just a puppy with lots of puppy energy. Foster mom mom also said to let you know I'm probably way too much for those furry things she calls cats and young children. Must have a fenced yard for playtime and potty. Must have someone that can house train and devote to training.. I am a 15 plus year commitment. I do play bite, I am a puppy that you must train. Puppy experience preferred. Please do not call or email asking if I am available. You need to put in your adoption application on our website and the foster home will those the best match! We will mark him as adoption pending once we are no longer looking at applications for him. We only adopt to NC, VA and surrounding states no exception Pugs must be indoors dogs Adopt A Pet. . . Overview:

The Pug, a charming and ancient breed, boasts a fascinating history believed to originate in China as early as 206 BC. Known for its distinctive flat, wrinkled face, large, expressive eyes, and tightly curled tail, the Pug's compact, muscular build is instantly recognizable. Despite their somewhat serious expression, Pugs are famously friendly, playful, and affectionate companions, often described as "clowns" due to their comedic antics. Their relatively low exercise requirements and adaptability make them excellent pets for apartment dwellers and devoted family members, thriving on human companionship. However, prospective owners should be aware of certain health considerations, primarily their susceptibility to respiratory issues due to their brachycephalic (short-nosed) structure, as well as potential eye problems and joint conditions. With proper care and attention, the Pug offers years of unwavering loyalty and delightful companionship.
