Description
Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Blondie, the 8-month-old Great Pyrenees mix! Blondie was found as a stray, so we donât know much about her history outside of the shelter, but since her time here she has shown herself to be a very friendly and outgoing pup! The staff and volunteers here have described her as goofy, affectionate, curious, and playful. Blondie has shown interest in other dogs, and has gotten along well with other dogs at the shelter, so she could potentially go to a family with a resident dog, provided there is a slow thoughtful introduction. Blondie is still has lots of puppy energy and loves to play, so she will need lots of physical and mental stimulation in her new home! If you would like a sweet and wiggly girl to add to your family, come meet Blondie today! Blondie is available for preadoptionâcome meet her, fall in love, and take her home after her spay surgery! Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
