Every puppy gets a physical from a veterinarian before going home. (Most breeders do not take their puppies to the vet.) 2.Your puppy is given a new hi-tech vaccination that will protect your puppy from parvo for up to a period of one year, the original vaccination dose not protect your puppy until a series of shots starting at the age of eight weeks and continuing every 3 weeks til the age of six months.
