We also naturally wean our puppies .We choose to take a natural approach . A dog just like a wolf or fox is As a pack animal.All animals in nature wean their pups or Kits by natural weaning .A dog is no different.A momma dog gently discipline the pups to eliminate the nursing slowly until it is no longer needed.Momma however is a daily part of their lives .This process is very effective and studies show puppies that are naturally weaned slowly rather than abruptly do not suffer destructive behaviors or separation anxiety.
Puppies have free feeding this is also part of the approach we take .Puppies that are not offered this way of eating tend to eat fast and aggressively since the food is not available at all times .Having food always available teaches puppies not to be aggressive around food and share well with their other littermates .Food aggression is not a good thing .This also makes the transition into a home with children a safe and effective way.A lot of time experience and love make for a well behaved happy dog .Transition from our home to yours is problem free .
