Piper is a beautiful 4.5 month-old Shepherd/Lab mix pup with a soft wavy coat. She found herself homeless at an overcrowded rural county dog shelter and was very frightened and overwhelmed there so she made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she could relax in a foster home while searching for her permanent new home. Piper was very shy upon arrival here with us but has been relaxing and becoming more confident with each passing day. She LOVES to play with toys and other dogs and has started becoming more comfortable on a leash. She’s now to the point where she’s relaxed enough to pee and poop when out for a walk which is a big step forward! Piper has done very well with crate-training in her foster home and should continue that in her adoptive home. It won’t be long before she has the house rules mastered as she’s a smart pup who’s very food-motivated. Piper’s got some big paws to grown into. She weighs about 30 pounds currently and expect she will be 60+ pounds once full-grown. We can’t wait to see this sweet girl living her very best life in her loving new home. Her adoption fee is $400. She’s spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations for her age including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized.
