Introducing our latest litter of pups!
This litter of 6 little Shih Tzus is everything we wanted! Sire and Dam are not papered, but are a lovely rounded pair of house/outdoor companion dogs, and the pups are shaping up to be the same.
Pups were born June 28th, and are eight weeks as of this posting. Five females, one male. Sire is 15 lbs, dam is 13.
We follow natural rearing methods with our dogs. They spend most of their time in fresh outside areas, eat fresh food, and are wormed naturally. Our adult dogs have never had worm infestations, even when living amongst our farm animals, and I will test the pups before they go to their new homes.
We typically hold our pups to 12-16 weeks to ensure proper socialization, health checks, and mental/training readiness before they go to their new homes. Pups will be well on their way to being litter/pee pad/potty trained, as well as crate and leash trained (with new owners understanding that pups aren't ready to be fully leash trained or crated for a full day until 6 months). They are socialized with plenty of dogs, cats, other adults, and children. They are introduced and sensitized to all weather possible, loud noises, grooming with trimmers, and car rides. While I will make an effort to allow new owners to select pups on a first come, first served basis, I reserve the right to assist in placing certain pups in certain homes based on owner's and/or pup's needs. Please ask if you have any questions about our rearing methods!
Pups will be $900, with a $300 deposit to hold. Located in Akron, Ohio.
After initial contact, I'll set up a short phone call so we can make sure these are the right pups for your family. You can also visit Crabby Goat Farm on Instagram or Facebook for photos and video that I'll be posting often from here on out. Thank you!
