Your puppy is a thoroughbred Whippet, conceived and raised in our home with the sire and dam. They are intended to be loving companions in a family rather than for show or other forms of competition though there is no reason they could not be shown with proper care and training. We have not registered either the Dam or Sire, nor have we any of the puppies. The Dam, Zoe, was sired on a female imported from Europe so she tends to be on the small size for an AKC Whippet, nearing the lower height requirement for the breed in this country. She is a nice reddish brindle with a black mask, her eyes are dark nearly black. She is 18 inches in height, light in build. The Sire, Useless, was bred in Oklahoma. He is very muscular at peak height for a Whippet at 22 inches. He is a nicely patterned black and white with keen intelligent brown eyes. He is a gentle friendly guy liking nothing better than a good long cuddle or bit of bone to chew on. We will hold a puppy for you with a $100 non-refundable deposit. Veterinary checkup and first shots available on request or as necessary for shipping at cost. Shipping is availble at additional cost, plus a transport kennel and required items for shipping although local pickup is preferred. A quote for the total cost can be provided to commited buyers on request.
