    Mumford (9y...

    Breed: Labrador Retriever-Plott Hound Mix
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Senior
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Plott Hound / Mixed (short coat). Summers County Humane Society Mumford is at least 8 years old. His worn teeth and torn ears, are proof of a rough life. If Mumford could speak you would hear... "My name is Mumford. I am not particularly cute or cuddly so I guess that that is why no one wants me (and maybe because I hate cats and other male dogs). At my foster mom's, Deb, I live in an outside kennel but I get to play with her little chihuahua in the big green play yard! I play very gentle and nice she says. I love to run and chase. Don't much care for balls and fetch though. They seem like silly games to me. I play with her border collie occasionally but I get too bossy with bigger dogs and play much better with small dogs. Mom says my leash manners are great now with a front lead harness and I love to go on walks anywhere just to explore and smell things. She says it is nice that I am smart enough to come out of the rain! I guess that is because I love my dog house. I spend my afternoons laying on the dog deck in the sun and just watching over things. When Deb comes in, I run to her and flop down for a belly rub. I have itchy skin allergies but they are much better with my new grain free dog food and Seresto flea collar. I would love my own person with a bed of my own..maybe a fireplace when it is cold. While I should be the only animal in your house, and would not like a dog park, I would love to go on leash walks with your friends. If you would give me a chance, I would be your loyal friend forever!!!" Thanks for listening! Please sponsor me!
