Description
I’m looking for a very special home for two sweet little sisters. Their names are Bean and Pickle. They are 1-year-old chihuahua/terrier mixes. I rescued them when they were just 8 weeks old and very sick (mange/skin infections, etc). With lots of love, care, and a fair bit of help from chase animal hospital, they’ve grown into happy, playful, and affectionate pups. With them being so sweet and healthy I am ready to find them their forever homes. I am open to them going together or separate homes. I believe they will thrive either way. I will require a small rehoming fee of $100 per puppy. This is to cover some of the cost of the vaccines and other medical bills. Bean & Pickle: • Bean was the runt of the litter, but she’s full of spunk and heart. She is the fawn-colored smaller dog in the photos. • Pickle is her slightly bigger sister. She is white and has charming freckles on her tummy. She is sweet and loving and a bit shier than her smaller sister. • Both girls have lots of energy and would thrive with a fenced-in yard where they can run and play. • They are also total cuddle bugs—whether it’s curling up right next to you at nig I am open to them going together or separate homes. I know they will bring endless love and joy to the right family. Serious inquiries only please. Will meet locally in Huntsville area, will not ship.

Overview:
The Chihuahua, a captivating breed known for its diminutive size, boasts an ancient and somewhat mysterious origin, with most theories pointing to Mexico as its birthplace, potentially descending from the "Techichi," a small companion dog of the Toltec civilization. Physically, they are easily recognizable by their small, compact bodies, large expressive eyes, and erect ears, appearing in both smooth and long-coated varieties, showcasing a vast array of colors and markings. Despite their tiny stature, Chihuahuas possess a big personality; they are often described as spirited, alert, and fiercely loyal to their owners, sometimes displaying a bold and confident demeanor. While their small size makes them exceptionally well-suited for apartment living, they thrive in homes where they receive ample attention and mental stimulation. They can be good family pets for older children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog, but their delicate build makes them less suitable for boisterous toddlers. Regarding health, Chihuahuas can be prone to certain conditions like patellar luxation, heart problems, and dental issues, making regular veterinary check-ups crucial for their well-being.
