AVAILABLE NOW!!! German Shorthaired Pointer (AKC) and American Labrador Retriever (AKC) 1st generation hybrid puppies. Also known as Pointing Labs, or my favorite, Pointadors! Born on Father's Day weekend (June 19th and 20th, 2026). Indoor and outdoor family raised (with kids, cats, and small critters) and LOTS of affection. They are super sweet, intelligent, playful, eager to please, easy to train, AND energetic. They will be EXCELLENT adventure pups for hunting, hiking, camping, jogging, walking, family, etc... Websearch for “pointadors” for more information on breed. Parents are on-site. While these are a designer hybrids from two different hunting breeds they have been great with small animals, as are their parents. The Pointador has become my new favorite “breed” but unfortunately they are generally uncommon. ***Not a breeder, just a family with a second, and final, litter. We encourage you to stop by and visit with your future pup and the rest of the family! Located in West Central Tacoma, by Fircrest.
Items Included: 1 certified bouncy/happy/loving puppy. Enough puppy chow as a starter for about 5 days. 1 puppy personalized binder with pup family photos and information. Initial deworming as precautionary (no worms detected).

Puppy Description
(FDE Collar) The Leader. She’s the big girl. Bold and confident.I named her Cappy because when she was born, her chest markings, looked like the flux capacitor from back to the future. She is very sweet and playful and is the only pup who figured out she can climb out of the puppy hut (kennel) if I leave the top part of the door open. It was quite comical the first time it happened as I put her inside and turned around to get another pup and she was immediately under my feet again.

Luna. Born 04/20/2018. German Shorthaired Pointer (purebred). I have her paperwork but I never registered her because I wasn't really sure I was going to breed her. Very sweet and loving. Can be more singularly focused/intense than Leo. Great with kids and small critters (cats, prairie dogs, etc...).

Overview:
The German Shorthaired Lab, a dynamic hybrid blending the best of the German Shorthaired Pointer and Labrador Retriever, originated from the desire to combine the two breeds' esteemed hunting abilities and friendly dispositions. Physically, these medium to large dogs typically boast a muscular, athletic build with a short, dense coat, often found in shades of black, brown, yellow, or liver, and sometimes with the GSP's characteristic ticking. Their temperament is a delightful mix of the Lab's unwavering loyalty and the GSP's keen intelligence and boundless energy. They are generally affectionate, trainable, and eager to please, making them fantastic companions for active families. Due to their high exercise requirements and need for mental stimulation, they are unsuitable for apartment living and thrive in homes with yards and access to regular outdoor activities. Health-wise, like their parent breeds, they can be prone to hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, and certain heart issues, so responsible breeding and regular vet check-ups are crucial.
