AXEL - BULL TERRIER / MIXED (SHORT COAT) DOG FOR ADOPTION

Posted Breed: Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffithaol) for more information about this pet. Posted 12/13/17 and pictures taken 11/29/17. He keeps his ears down when I try to get more videos of him, so I have not updated his pictures yet. I picked Axel up from the Smith County, TX Animal Shelter on 11/29/17. He had been picked up on CR 3140 on 11/8/17 weighing 30 pounds, and estimated to be 4 years old. He was scared in the kennel at the shelter. Once out of the kennel, he was in my lap licking my face while I was signing his release papers, good on a leash, and likes going for rides. I have let him run around several of my dogs with no problems, but he can act dominant to some other male dogs. He was neutered on 1/5/2018. He does not like being inside a home, so he requires a fenced yard with shelter, and although I put him on my lap at the shelter, he is not a lap dog. He does jump on my leg to get my attention to pet him. He was heartworm positive when I got him from the shelter, and has been on heartworm prevention since, so he should be negative by now using the slow kill treatment.
