Stella - American Pit Bull Terrier-Unknown Mix Female Dog For Adoption in Binghamton, New York, USA

Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat).

Every senior dog deserves a purpose — and a place to call home. Stella is around 11 years old and has been with PMAR for over five years. She’s one of our beloved long-timers, not because she isn’t wonderful, but because she prefers life without other animals. That can make finding the right match harder — but it doesn’t make her any less deserving of a forever home. She was adopted as a puppy and later returned to PMAR in May 2020 when her adopter’s circumstances changed. Since then, she’s been lovingly cared for by her foster family… but what she truly needs is a home of her own to settle into at last. Stella’s Sweet Spots: • Gentle, shy, and blossoms with patience and trust • Would thrive as an only pet (may do okay with a calm, dog-savvy cat) • Incredibly smart — knows “No,” “Wait,” “Place,” “Down,” “Sit,” “Off,” and “Come” • Loves sniffy walks, sunshine, and peaceful outdoor time Stella has waited far too long for her happily-ever-after. She deserves a cozy couch, a soft blanket, and a family who sees her worth — because she has so much love left to give.
