They were living in deplorable conditions. But this pup is resilient and eager to live a full life with someone that is willing to give him a chance. At 14 pounds and approximately 4 years old, Butler has blossomed in his foster home! He actually warmed up pretty quickly and will now come when his name is called. He loves getting the zoomies in the backyard with his fellow foster friends, so he would love to have a dog buddy or two to pal around with in his new home. Butler has become BFF with Maddox (also available thru PMR), as they have similarly quirky playstyles. So if you're looking for a built-in duo, consider adotping Bulter and Maddox together! Because of his prior living conditions, Butler is not used to the workings of a "normal" household - everything is new, so he likes to check it all out to see what it's all about; supervision is key until the newness of homelife wears off. Butler also startles farily easily, so a home with young children will not be a good fit. Butler LOVES the older human child in his foster home. Butler is affenctionate and sweet and will make an absolutely fabulous friend for his new family.
