Dog Breed: Maltese / Poodle (unknown type) / Mixed. Hello everyone! Meet Apollo, a sweet senior boy looking for a new home after his senior owner could no longer care of the pets in the family. Happy Birthday Apollo! He just turned 15 years young! Apollo is very outgoing and loves to walk. When he is out and about, everyone tells him how cute he is. He wants to visit every human or pup he sees! He is very good with children who want to pet him. Apollo wants to be close to you so he will hang with you when making dinner or lay next to you in the den while you work. He does have a grade 4 heart murmur and is on medicaton, which the Paws LOVS program will cover for the rest of his life. Apollo is working on his potty habits. He is usually good if taken out every two hours! He spends his alone time in a crate and keeps it clean. He is not thrilled going into the crate but settles down quickly. A future adopter will have to be diligent so you can set him up for potty success! We are looking for someone with a BIG heart to adopt Apollo. Yes, he is a senior with medical needs, but he is oh so sweet and deserves a great home for his senior years. Someone home more often would be needed to continue with his potty training and to provide him with companionship.
