Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed. Adoption Fee: 250. Hi I’m Tito! I’m full of spunk and personality! No one can resist my personality! I love playing with all the pups in the home and I’m a first class snuggler! I’m used to being spoiled, so I’d like a home that will let me be the spoiled pup I deserve to be! In return, I’ll give you all the love and cuddles you can handle! I like to sleep in bed at night with my person, I will kennel if you prefer. But just expect a 3am wake-up call of me asking again and again to join you in bed!! My foster mom says I can be a little vocal, but how else will you know what I want if I don’t tell you? My foster mom says I’m one of a kind! She doesn’t know my parents or any siblings. But one of me is all this world needs! I promise we will have lots of fun together! If interested in meeting me, fill out an application at savingdeathrowdogs.rescuegroups/info/adoption

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
