Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois / Mixed. Ranger is a happy dog with lots of energy! He likes to go on long walks and likes to be with his humans. He great with children and littles of all ages who are dog savvy. He has basic obedience and recall although he does love to do his running he really wants to be with his person. He is good with farm animals and other dogs. He does well with cats too but sometimes looks at them funny. He is a real Lady's man and a fantastic and natural caretaker. If you need a boy to keep an eye on you Ranger is your pup. If your looking for a well balanced dog who would love to go on adventures and wants a dedicated family dog this is the one for you! Hewooo Muh nam iz Ranger!! I am a fun goofy fella lookin fer muh speshial hooman. I weally lik da ladiez and if u need a pawtector I am yer man... er uh I meen dawg! I liv on a farm with lotz of dawgs, funne lookin horzes .... horzes with BIG ears... and goatz and a bunch o kitties. I lern weally fast and I like to be wif my hooman after I get in a gud run. I am fwendly wit other dawgs but if dey don lik me den dats ok 2. I use to hav a ladee uf my own but dey tell me she iz waiting fer me to croz the rainbow bridge. I use to go ta wurk wit her and make sur dat she wuz safe. I kno how ta behave wid the littles and pawmise I won knock dem down. I lik activities too and after a good snuggle. My paw sez I might be a lil piggy cuz I snuck in da work place and ate up a da treatos.... oh boy did my tummy hurt dat day. pweeze consider mee I would love to hav my own set of hoomans to call my own. We are an official 501C3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each of our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
