Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 625.00. Meet Anisley! Anisley is a sweet, playful little pup with a heart full of love and curiosity. With her shiny black coat and adorable floppy ears, she’s as beautiful as she is affectionate. She’s still a young girl, which means she’s full of energy, loves to explore, and is eager to learn. Anisley is great with kids—gentle and patient—and enjoys being part of family life. She’s already showing how smart she is and will thrive with consistent training, playtime, and cuddles. Whether she’s chasing toys, wagging her tail for attention, or curling up beside you, Anisley’s main goal is to be your best friend. She would do wonderfully in a home where she can get plenty of love, daily exercise, and a cozy spot to nap. Anisley is ready to grow with her forever family and give endless kisses along the way. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a playful spirit, Anisley is your girl!

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
