Description
Dog Breed: Cairn Terrier / Schnauzer / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 395. All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. Hi, I’m Jupiter ✨ I’m a 6-year-old scruffy little lady with a tender heart. My world turned upside down when my family had to give me up after losing their home, and I’m still carrying a little bit of that sadness. What I want more than anything now is a steady hand and a warm lap to call my own. I’m gentle, sweet, and happiest when I’m near my person. I get along fine with other dogs, though I’m more of a quiet soul than a social butterfly. My favorite thing is simply being someone’s companion—curled up nearby, listening to your day, or following you from room to room just to be close. I’d do best in a home where I don’t have to spend much time alone. A retiree or someone who works from home would be perfect for me, because I love the comfort of knowing my person is close. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will treasure every moment by your side, I think we might just be meant for each other. Could I be the little star in your universe? All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
