She’s doing wonderfully with her house training—only one accident so far, and she’ll whimper softly to let you know when it’s time to go outside. She’s also picking up leash skills quickly and walks nicely without tugging. She’s very dog-friendly and enjoys meeting new canine pals, though she can be a little shy around bigger dogs at first. Cat experience is unknown. Around kids, she shines—she’s absolutely wonderful with the foster family’s 3-year-old and loves being part of the fun. A true lap dog at heart, she’s incredibly affectionate, food-motivated, and adores her rope-filled stuffy toys. She’s still working on kennel training, especially at night, but with patience and consistency she’ll get there. Outside, she likes to explore, so her family will need to keep an eye on her curious habit of trying to snack on leaves and acorns. Quiet, loving, and eager to please, she’s ready to find her forever home where she can be someone’s loyal companion and best friend. * Puppies under 5 months should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time to help them with potty training and socialization. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.
