Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Terrier / Mixed. Meet our charming boy Vader. This Vader has the force with him and he is ready to explore, love and enjoy a forever family. Vader is such a handsome sweetheart. He is a black labrador retriever mix around 9 months. He weighs 65 pounds and because of his breed and age, he is considered a large boy and expected to definitely reach over 60 pounds (and he has already hit that!). He has a short black coat with beautiful patches of white markings on his chest. Vader is an expert cuddler. He is curious about the world around him but also loves cuddling with his people. He absolutely loves other animals, dogs, chickens, goats, etc. Although he has not been introduced to cats since coming into rescue. He is also great with kids and would love to be the big brother to a household with children. Vader is crate trained, and for being a young boy, that is great progress. His housetraining and leash training are well underway, and he should become masters of those in no time as well! He is one of the most happy and wiggly boys; he loves affection and loves praise. He loves to play, so a regular regime of fun activities would be ideal for him. Perhaps he can run off his energy with large secured outside area or go for some lively play in the backyard.
